Angelina Jolie's movie "Salt" to premiere in the Phils July 28
... and we are going to watch it for FREE on its special screening at Greenbelt 3 in Makati courtesy of Nuffnang and Nestle's Heaven Ice Cream.
Here's the invitation:
To be honest with you folks, I am still celebrating now. Before you ask me why, here are the reasons:
Not only that she's a well-known-top-caliber-award-winning Holywood actress who is great in all movie genres but excel so much in action movies - Tomb Raider & Mr. and Mrs. Smith, among others - more so because she has a passion for humanity. Well known for here involvement in various humanitarian efforts all over the world, this "most beautiful woman" became the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees (UNHCR) in 2001. She founded the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children as well as the Jolie Pitt Foundation and at the same time co-chairs the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. Despite of all her popularity, riches, and of course a handsome partner Bradd Pitt, Jolie doesn't think she's different. When she told that to a magazine a few years ago, I instantly became her solid fan.
2. The tickets are FREE! Hello?
Meaning, I could save around P200 ($4.something) for the movie ticket since I know I'm not gonna let myself watch this movie on a pirated debede (DVD). Plus the fact that I got three tickets! It would just definitely mean having two chaperons with me as I walk down the red carpet! Wanna apply as one? Kidding.
3. A chance to network with bloggers. Period.
What about the movie?
Here's the Synopsis: Angelina Jolie stars in Columbia Pictures' Salt, a contemporary espionage thriller. Before becoming a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. She will prove loyal to these when a defector accuses her of being a Russian sleeper spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture, protect her husband, and stay one step ahead of her colleagues at the CIA.
Reports said the movie was first offered to Tom Cruise previously titled as Edwin A. Salt, which he declined to do because the $20 million professional fee is not possible. The script was then revised to fit the female protagonist Evelyn Salt (Jolie) -- of course!
I'll surely do my own assessment of the film after I watch it tomorrow. I wouldn't care about other people's reviews. :-p
Consult Mr. Wiki later if you need to know more about Angelina.
For now, let us know first your opinion about Angelina and her movie 'Salt' or any other movies you've watched.

Meeting Aga Muhlach in Person
Needless to say, I am one of actor Aga Muhlach's million fans all over the world.
Who have not hahanga great actors in it?
Just yesterday, while hoity-toity hoity-toity to the girls and gays in the pantry for the Hosting of Robin Padilla in Wowowee (as the temporary replacement of Willie Revillame), we discussed by Ley, Quin, and Ate Vi Wheng some of the favorite artists.
One of them off the Aga Muhlach, who is now husband of former Bb. Philippines - Universe Charlene Gonzalez - Muhlach.
She says that Wheng, makikipagsiksikan you did (in case any) see only the Aga personally. Take note, she told them as teenagers like that hoity-toity hoity-toity.
I remembered the story she continued in high school just to Ace Espinosa makapapiktyur. I do not know whether the action star nyo know this but I'll blog about it some Other time. It is a super dooper kakaloka story that a teenager would share.
Earlier that, I arrived at King's Court in Delhi to attend the Wealth Academy, a financial literacy program of the International Marketing Group, along with friend Kuya Terence.
Unlike before I go here on Monday, more car parked outside the building, and many people in front of it. I HOPE, nagsyu-shooting stars Aga Muhlach Ai Ai Delas Alas and for a program on ABS CBN.
I suddenly remembered the conversation in the pantry yesterday.
Smiled at me and I'll expect the Aga.
Elevator lobby and in the shooting. The cry of 'cut' the director, we pinadaan to go to the 3rd Floor.
But I do not see him as the Aga AI AI also nakahambalang the runway.
Dedma the chinbeauty of komedyana este. I just smiled at towards the looks go.
Feeling better than I do because I Ate Wheng or to amuse him, but Why on Earth she got all the great privilege to work with starts like Aga? * Wink *.
I did not bother to see the faces around. Most of them good looking and I think it starts locally whose names I did not even care to remember. In that very instance I felt like I'm a Super Being over those slave to gigilidwho rolled down the red carpet for us.
Before I step up the stairs, I glance again at the cluster of artists, but not the Aga!
When we got up the 3rd floor, I brushed off the little sadness as I Signed up for today's session.
Jolly someone that when trainers talked about insurance and investments, I focused my mind on stocks and about playing with them Went uncertain times like now. So expelled from the Aga pedestal in my mind.
But after nearly one and a half hour altercation and squeeze the brain, we are home.
Besides narefresh I think I on economic matters that we studied in college super-overwhelmed me because we synchronous elevator a cutie that I first noticed when the previous day.
Palm Nakadaupang cutie I was but I forgot the name Asking only. Of course, I nagpapakaloyal. .
From the third floor of the building, I am not even very little idea of opening the door of the elevator on the second floor is bubungad the Aga Muhlach was smiling with a woman. Crew, I guessed.
They entered the elevator.
pinched a woman on the button to close the door.
Quit the world rotation.
not the hour hand moves at the time. Although the numbers of the digital watch was moved.
Especially my muscles.
But we just all smiles. I still poised.
I asked Kuya Terence if he has a camera while my hand was busy looking for my Camera Phone.
No one has turned us a Camera.
Dead batt the phone I do.
"wow!" I uttered.
"Crush you yet ..." I ran out of words while Staring at His face.
"TL ... of me!" I said.
smiled Aga then.
The elevator door opened.
Outside the door, Plenty of people were waiting for that moment. Their cameras were ready capturing that scenario.
Dedicated to the eyes, lighting and Camera once again flip the hands of the clock.
I pushed it out of the elevator because e-scenes that owns the crown as queen of comedy.
The Iron Baby
Poor me because I haven't watched Iron Man 2 since its release on May 7. There were several reasons that hindered me from watching the movie all of you guys have loved to see.
Iron Man 2 might have thrilled us but I am more than just confident that you'll love this video even more - IRON BABY! How's that?
The short film was created by Canadian filmmaker Patrick Boivin.

A fan of the new American Idol Lee DeWyze here
Together with some of my officemates, I jumped off the floor when host Ryan Seacrest announced Lee DeWyze as the new American Idol.
was previously rooting for Siobhan Magnus. During that time, Lee was only my number three with Crystal Bowersox as number two. As the show went close to the finals, I came to love Lee more than I've loved Crystal and Siobhan.
Seeing Lee's reaction when his name was called during the show's final night just a few minutes ago (Wednesday US Time, around 10am Manila Time) is more than enough for a Filipino fan in me.
"Lee DeWyze, a paint store clerk who overcame his shyness and prevailed over soulfulCrystal Bowersox in the singing contest's ninth season," Associated Press reported a few moment ago.
Here's the rest of the report:
"Host Ryan Seacrest said on Wednesday's finale that the 24-year-old DeWyze of Mount Prospect, Ill., edged Bowersox, also 24, of Toledo, Ohio, in viewer votes cast after Tuesday's performance show.
Although Bowersox drew higher marks from the judges for her performance this week, the panel had reaffirmed its respect for DeWyze's talent and his character — and the audience agreed. He'll release a single, "Beautiful Day."
Wednesday's finale also marked the departure of judge Simon Cowell, walking down memory lane through film clips, a parody song by Dane Clark and the return of ex-judge Paula Abdul."
It was such a great time watching this year's American Idol's finale here in the office (in between work), together with a few cool colleagues B DeVera (Parang DeWyze lang oh), Maan Ronquillo, Nika Evangelista, Ericka Abad, Gaye Marcelo & Jerick among others.
Thanks to my twin sister Erika for the Pop Corn, and of course to John Lloyd Cruz (and his ad agency) for the fun Greenwich commercial!
I'll surely write a follow up blog entry at home later since I can hear my conscience (ala-safeguard commercial) shouting at me to go back to work while this naughty fan in me still wants to write fanatic views in here.
